Domain forwarding is an economical method of hosting your domain name by using your existing hosting faciliites.

Perhaps you have numerous domains that you want to show the same web site - it would be costly and time-consuming to setup hosting accounts for each and update them independently. The solution is to host one of the domains and then forward the other domains to it.

If you have three domains that you wish to all show the same content, one of the domains should have a hosting account (e.g. domain.com), and visitors to the other domains (domain1.com & domain2.com) should be forwarded to the hosted domain.

If you have a hosting account with us, you can configure the forwarded domains linked to that hosting account via cPanel.

Alternatively, if you have already created & published a website on free web space from your ISP or elsewhere (e.g. www.geocities.com/company/~user/index.html), this name is too long to remember and is not ideal to put on a business card - you need something more professional.

Even if your web site is for personal use rather than business use, a domain name with domain forwarding would be preferable.
